We just got home from the Levitt Pavillion Pasadena. Tonight it was “The Vagabond Puppets” presenting “Ferdinand the Bull.” It was a a story about a young bull that enjoyed smelling the roses instead of fighting.
It was perfect that we showed up a little early to grab a nice spot on the grass. The Paviliion filled up with families and their blankets. We brought some beef bowl, goldfish crackers, bananas and chips. Then we saw other families with full on picnic foods, sandwiches, pizza, barbeque, fruits, dip, etc. Next time, I’m bringing Sate bbq from Thai BBQ, yummy!
There were also some some vendors selling fried chicken, catfish, hotdogs, lemonade and some snacks if you didn’t bring any food. So there’s no way you can go hungry.
There was a pre show by kids from Theater 360 performing Beauty and the Beast. Not too bad. But I was more excited hearing some songs from my favorite Disney movie. And the sweetest song ever, “Something that wasn’t there before”
Monster House Rock will be performing on August 5 and Choo Choo Soul will be performing on August 19. This Summer Music Series is so fun!
