The last time hubby and I went to San Francisco was before we got married, so maybe, 9 years ago. Last December, my parents took the kids to SF to watch Lion King. This is our first trip together to San Francisco and we were all very excited.

We went to Pier 39 for a little stroll.

We visited some shops and got some souvenirs.

We didn’t stay too long at the Pier but we made the best of it! Can’t wait to go back again.

Funny thing happened today….

Our kids’ school year is about to end so we were talking about their field trips.

DD mentioned how come she never had and field trips to the park unlike my DS. My husband reminded my daughter how she’s had many field trips including museums and other fun places.

When he asked my daughter which one was her favorite, she said, the “Chuck E Cheese field trip!” lol

I realized we haven’t been taking our kids to CEC because they always catch a cold or something else whenever we take them there.

So, that explains why our kids get excited each time we let them go to Chuck E Cheese. And it’s the best field trip ever! Hahaha

When we got home, I asked the kids…
“What was your favorite part of the Fall Festival?” They answered, “You Mommy! Because we don’t get to spend too much time with you cause you have to be at work for a long time.”
Awww I love my babies! and I’m so grateful with every opportunity to spend time with them.

We’ve been going to Leo Carillo for camping for two years in a row now. The best part of this campsite is that its very nearby to the beach. It’s much cleaner than Santa Monica beach and less crowded too.

DS wanted to celebrate his 7th birthday in Legoland this year. We scored 2 day Park Hopper passes through a friend’s discount.

Our passes were good for admission to Sea Life, Legoland Theme Park and the Legoland Water Park.

We went to Sea Life first, because the theme park was still closed when we got there. Sea life is an aquarium with Lego characters. The set up is catered to young children and very interactive. It’s almost like a discovery museum. DS and DD enjoyed it! I loved the variety of colorful sea animals the most =)

Untitled

The Theme Park was cute. They had a variety of attractions for the children. DH was able to ride with DS in the more adventurous rides and I stayed with DD unless there was a ride she felt like getting on.

Legoland

Untitled

I was very happy with the variety of rides available. The kids were able to enjoy rides they were able to go on by themselves and there were also some that we can all go on as a family.

More than just the rides, we also enjoyed the other activities available in the park.

There was a small water play area (apart from the actual Water Park), which is always a hit with the children!

Being parents to young children, I always appreciate play areas. And Legoland delivered! =)

We were there from opening to closing of the park and we didn’t even cover the whole park. I’m so glad we had a ticket for a 2nd day! Next time, we’ll be heading to the Water Park =)

It was very tiring, but very fun! We had an amazing family time celebrating DS’s 7th Birthday at Legoland California!

I’m so glad summer is here.

We get to sleep in a little later. Take our time more and slow down a bit.

My favorite part is being able to spend more time with the family. Yay!

Seems like we’re the only ones who hasn’t been to The Boiling Crab.

They opened one in KoreaTown and I was ecstatic since my parents live there. We were visiting my parents this weekend so we figured it would be the best time to go. It was so much closer from them than I thought, it was only 3 minutes away, oh yeah!

I thought they opened at 3, but it turns out they are open at 3pm weekdays but at 12nn on weekends. So we waited for a while, about 45 minutes, but man oh man. The kids we’re so entertained looking at everything, they had a shark head and an alligator on the wall. The bibs were also a hit with the kids, it made them feel cool.

So we ordered… crab legs, shrimp with lemon pepper, a fried shrimp basket, a chicken tenders basket, some corn, rice, fresh oysters and my favorite…. the fried oysters!

It was a yummy yummy experience and eating all the delicious food made me forget my 45 minute wait! Looking forward to come eat there again. =)

On October 15, we took the kiddies to Travel Town at the Griffith Park. Travel Town is a Train Museum with several parked trains that people can actually go inside and explore.
Travel Town Museum

There ismini train ride that the family can enjoy. The ride lasts about 8 minutes and went around the track twice.

Also, an indoor museum area with other transportation and machines is located next to the train ride. It was a nice break from being out in the sun.
DSC_0306

I liked it that they had food and ice cream available for purchase. Ice cream is always a plus =)

We took advantage of the many photo opportunities for the kiddies. This was my most favorite part of the visit.
