It has been a week since My DD’s 4th Birthday Party. We celebrated it Cowgirl Style.

We were super lucky to have found the Little Barn on Google.
Elle's 4th birthday invitation
It’s located on 130 s. Beaudry, Los Angeles, CA

I was able to put together a simple dessert table.
Cowgirl Birthday Party
I used some crates and chopping boards to hold the goodies.

We were very lucky to have my brother in law make some very delicious cupcakes for the party.
Cowgirl cupcakes
These were chocolate cupcakes with yummy cream cheese frosting inside.

I made some Marshmallow Smores.
Marshmallow Smores
I stuck a marshmallow on a stick, dipped it on chocolate and then on crushed graham crackers. It was a hit. And I loved how easy it was to make them.

I also made some chocolate rice krispy treats.
Chocolate rice krispy treats
I dipped them in chocolate and decorated them with a ribbon flag on a toothpick.

For the giveaways, I chose bandanas to hold the little favors.
Cowgirl Giveaways
They served a dual purpose, the actual goody bag and an extra favor as well.

The birthday girl had such a great time.

It was fun to have family and friends come to celebrate with us.

This is my favorite shot of her and her birthday cake.

Aaron’s actual birthday was his last day of kindergarten. There was no opportunity to have a party in school, so we decided to hand out goody bags to his friends.

Aaron loved his Psalty’s Bible and Wii’s Udraw.

Aaron turned 6 this year. One week before his birthday, he tell me he wanted an angry birds party. I scoured the internet for tips and ideas. Some are amazingly cute, but most are not as practical as the ideas that I needed.

We were gonna have a celebration with the Sunday School kids at church and it had to be an easy set up and easy take down.

I personalized a cupcake stand to match with the angry birds theme.

Here’s the shot of the cupcakes on the stand.

I downloaded these cute guys and the kids had fun stacking them.
DSC01846

We had a simple set up, but I wanted the birthday boy to have a wall so festive that he could take pictures with.
DSC01980

I used a banner I used 2 years ago from a previous party and I made a pennant banner which I can reuse for another time. The foam initials of his name was an amazing deal for a dollar each.

The kids played a game of find your partner, and the headbands doubled as a party hat. lol
DSC01901

Then the kids played knock over the piggies. Hubby found some green raffia balls and I taped the faces on them. The kids had to knock them over the blocks with bead bags. They had so much fun!

Our Darling Daughter turned TWO last saturday.

Pretty Elle

The party was at Fremont Park and we were blessed with really nice weather (considering its been raining just a few days before).

We had a Tinkerbell party. The decorations included a blown up picture of one of her fairy portraits, purple and green balloons, buckets filled with candy and a pinwheel and cupcakes with Tinkerbell picks.

The kids and parents were entertained by Sara from Music with Sara.

She introduced children to music and some basic instruments. They moved, danced and had so much fun. All the parents were very impressed.

She even did an awesome job in face painting the kids. More information available on her website: www.itsmusictime.com
