Last week, I read about a children’s place sale through babycheapskate. I order few items and was pretty pleased. I was able to get DS a couple of shoes (he’s loves the lazer slides) for under $4.99 each, using the coupon they provided. But last night, I saw they’re having yet a bigger sale. Some shoes are going out for $2.97. I couldn’t help myself. I picked up a pair for DD.

If you haven’t yet, there’s still some great stuff left. Use the webcode fa78 to save an extra 15%

Baby Carrier

Having to take care of my two kiddos, every little thing that can make my life easier is always appreciated.

I remembered how my sister in law used to carry her youngest in a baby carrier wherever she went. And of course, we can’t find the carrier we bought for our son, which meant I have to buy a new one for our little girl.

I didn’t want to spend too much on the carrier, so I looked really hard for one that looked comfortable and inexpensive. I found an Infantino carrier. It was perfect. I was comfortable, neutral in color, inexpensive and the baby likes it. I got it for $14.99 at Target.

And the best part of it is…I have my hands free to do other things around the house. =)

Avent Bottles

Before our new baby was born, we couldn’t figure out what bottles to use for her to put in the registry. Then, we received a few Avent bottles.  We’ve tried Avent before with our firstborn, and we actually liked it, but we thought they were a little expensive.  But since we did receive the same kinds for our new baby, we decided to stick with it.

But not only are the bottles expensive. So are the nipples. One day, I decided to buy the slow stage nipples and guess what? It’s almost $5 for 2 nipples. Geesh! And also, since I have been pumping, I figured I would need a couple more storage bottles. When we went to Target to look for storage bottles, the Avent brand was $15 for 4 (4oz) bottles. I almost threw a fit. First the nipples, now the storage bottles.

Then, on our trip to Target (again) today, my husband showed me an Avent box which seems to have 4 bottles inside and asked me, “How much do you think this is?” I said, “Expensive!” He’s like, “No, it’s not!” I told him it’s at least $15. He said it was only about $5. I said, “No Way!” He showed me where he found it and he was right. It was a gift set. It had 4 (9oz) bottles, 4 nipples, 4 nipple covers and tops, 4 storage lids and a pacifier.

The only thing is this package is all the way on the bottom of the shelf. So, if you’re in search of good bottles for a great deal. Try the Avent Gift Set!
