I’ve been working on the elements for the Candyland bulletin board at work since last week and we finally started putting it all together today. I was off the phone for a few hours with a few girls to get this project done ASAP. We’re almost done, but they’ll have to finish it without me tomorrow because I have the day off.
But I’m thinking about bringing the kids to work anyway so they can see what I’ve been doing at work all this time. And it has nothing to do with telephones, lol.
At lunch, I called the private school that we were thinking of sending DS for Pre-K if things don’t work out with the public school. I visited it once and I loved it. I just want to make sure DH feels the same way. So, I asked them about registration, enrollment, and if DH and I can have a tour.
They said sure and told us to come by anytime before or after nap time. The lady who answered the phone even invited us to join their Cinco de Mayo celebration that evening from 6-8pm.
After I got out of work at 7pm, hubby agreed to drive by the school. They were having a dance troop performing some folk dance routines. The kids couldn’t keep their eyes off the performance. DS saw the auditorium, some of the other children’s artwork and of course the playground. He didn’t want to leave.
He really wants to attend this school. We might end up taking him with us tomorrow when DH and I go visit the school for a tour.
So after a little Cinco de Mayo performance, we ended up at Eaglerock Plaza for some dinner and to run some errands. Chow King is the best! It’s so much more affordable, tasty and have a wider selection than Jollibee.
It was a little pass 9pm when we hopped back on the freeway on the way home. And I can’t believe we had so much done already. I use to get out of work at 9pm and we barely get anything done at night co’z everything’s already closed.
So it was a great evening. We saw some performers, did some errands have dinner and spent some quality time together as a family.
