I received a beautiful email from a friend and it is such an encouragement and inspiration to see that someone I’ve known for a long time is growing to be such a wonderful woman of God.
This week, I’m starting to overcome one of my challenges, dealing with mean people and other people’s personalities. I’m learning to be a stronger person, a lot less bothered and overwhelmed about people being just plain mean and insensitive and selfish.
I’m finding a lot more time to spend time with my family and enjoying them much more each second. I love them.
My son has been coming home singing songs kids would sing while they play in the playground at school. And he doesn’t even go to school yet. He picks up words and songs so well. He’s learning it from his cousin and one of his playmates at my in laws.
My daughter is communicating very well. She can copy and utter some words, but only when she feels like it. With or without words though, she manages to let us know what she want either by pointing or going to what she wants and giving it to us.
I’ve been working on some cleaning and laundry all week, but as soon as I get one room done or one pile done, it always seem like I have to start all over again. But I figured, one less toy off the ground is better than all of them, right?
A previous co-worker of mine saw me on my way home and asked me to make her a couple of thank you cards for the staff that took care of her mom when she had an open heart surgery. I couldn’t say no. I worked on the cards the night before and I put on the final touches before I went to work the following day.
