We made it! yay!
Around this time every year comes along the Gospel Show at LACHSA! I love the attending but it’s very busy for us.
DH does the sound engineering for the show which mean he had to start getting his gear ready Monday through Thursday. He had to attend the dress rehearsal on Friday till they finish, about 8pm.
I took some time off work Friday and decided to take Aaron with me to Hollywood and Highland. They were having a Sesame Street Bodies Exhibit. It was nice, like a discovery museum.
He got his photo taken with Elmo.
We were there a few hours. We stopped by Johnny Rockets for a snack and came back to play some more till they had to close at five.
Then we passed by the Sanrio store. I guess, it’s becoming a little tradition for Aaron and I to pass by there and pick him a treat every time we go to H&H.
It was a great Mommy and Aaron Day.
Saturday, we woke up at 6AM to go to the March of Dimes.
The kids were great. No meltdowns and they stayed in the stroller for the 3 miles hubby and I walked and pushed them. Hubby is such a great supporter. I love him =) There were free food, giveaways, and a kids area. It was a nice day to be out at the par.
Then, we chilled at home for a bit before hubby’s 2 o’clock call time. I dropped off the kids’ at my in laws so I can catch the 6 o’clock show.
Today, Sunday, we slept in from our sore bodies. I made cupcakes, took the kiddies to the grocery with me and made lunch before hubby woke up. (He got home around 7am from work) We had ribs and sourdough, oh yeah!
Hubby had a 4 o’clock call time for the gospel show, but we wanted to take the kids out for a bit. We ended up at Fair Oaks Soda Fountain in South Pasadena. And man oh man, yummy!
I had the chocolate soda….
Hubby and Aaron had the banana split.
It was bigger than Aaron’s head!
Elle liked the onion rings!
So, this really hectic week actually ended up to be a wonderful opportunity to hang out as a family, yay!
