The thought of having 4 days off was nice. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as relaxing as I hoped it would be. Considering our would be out of town guests ended up not coming and that we didn’t really have to prepare food for the 2 dinners we attended, we were still exhausted.
Thursday, we started getting ready at 12 noon but ended up not leaving the house till 4:30. We got to my in laws at 5 and stayed till 7. Then we went to my sis-in-law’s for dinner #2 till 9. Both we’re wonderful dinners but since DH had work that night, we rushed right after.
Friday, my mother in law wanted to borrow the kiddies for a while so I was able to hit the mall and check out the Black Friday sale. The Galleria parking was packed so I ended going to the Sears and then walked to the mall. That was my workout!
Saturday, I started freaking out about getting the props for the children’s concert started. We only have 2 weeks left to work on them. We went to Old Town to spend some time out together to calm down my nerves instead. DS had his first photo with Santa and had Pho for dinner.
Sunday, DS didn’t want to go the Sunday School. DD fell asleep in my arms. We had Pho for lunch again, hahah. And why not? Pho is awesome!
Monday, work again. I took the kiddies to my in laws in the morning and had an awesome conversation with DS in the car. DH got us a Wii with a few games. Now I don’t have to get him a PS3 for Christmas!
