The other day, DS watched an episode of Phineas and Fern (which is my favorite cartoon right now by the way) there was a character who won a gold fish from the carnival. He walked home with the gold fish in a plastic bag of water.
Not too long after that, we received a package in the mail. As expected, the packing material filled up most of the box. It came with a few air pouches. I’ve actually used some of them before as bags to dispose diapers, since there was a time that we had so many that I really didn’t want to trash them without giving them a second purpose. This time, DS found another way to use them, as a toy.
He took one pouch, still with some air in it then gathered the top with his fingers. Then he started walking around the house carefully saying, “Look, I have a pet goldfish!” He was so funny and smart to come up with this all by himself. DH decided to make it even better. He took one of his handy dandy sharpies and drew a fish right on the pouch, and Voila! A fish in a Bag!
