I’ve been wondering, is my infant smiling in her sleep, really?
People say that it might be gas. I was thinking if they are developing some sort of memory throughout the day causing her to smile.
I’ve been looking for more info online and as far as smiling is concerned, thy all say the same thing, “smiling” is a natural reaction to connecting and socializing with other people.
Currently, there’s only one source that I found helpful regarding this topic. It said, “sleepysmiles at this age are caused by an internal stimulus—the growth of the brain stem, a primitive portion of the brain not directly involved in sight or thought.” ~Time.com
