Those disposable diaper bags are such great help to get rid of stinky diapers. I normally get mine from Babies r Us. But you know what works just as good? Those see-through bags in the produce section of the grocery store.
No,I don’t take their bags without asking. Hubby bought me a roll from Smart and Final. It’s for $20 for 1600 pcs. Compare that to $7 from 250 disposable bags from Babes r Us.
I figured, they go to the trash anyway, why pay more money for them!
We used the plastic grocery bags from the checkout line until I started shopping with the reusable bags – using the produce bags is a great idea!
I just use my plastic grocery bags to bag up stinky diapers. I’ve always got a ton, because I can’t remember to take my cloth bags to the store with me, and I either have to recycle them or use them again. Not buying plastic bags specifically for dirty diapers but reusing these reduces trash!
I do the same thing! We get lots of produce and I hate to throw the bags away, so we also use them for dirty diapers. 🙂
Great tip, I might just save mine from the store. We don’t have many stinky diapers with a toddler.
