Before our new baby was born, we couldn’t figure out what bottles to use for her to put in the registry. Then, we received a few Avent bottles. We’ve tried Avent before with our firstborn, and we actually liked it, but we thought they were a little expensive. But since we did receive the same kinds for our new baby, we decided to stick with it.
But not only are the bottles expensive. So are the nipples. One day, I decided to buy the slow stage nipples and guess what? It’s almost $5 for 2 nipples. Geesh! And also, since I have been pumping, I figured I would need a couple more storage bottles. When we went to Target to look for storage bottles, the Avent brand was $15 for 4 (4oz) bottles. I almost threw a fit. First the nipples, now the storage bottles.
Then, on our trip to Target (again) today, my husband showed me an Avent box which seems to have 4 bottles inside and asked me, “How much do you think this is?” I said, “Expensive!” He’s like, “No, it’s not!” I told him it’s at least $15. He said it was only about $5. I said, “No Way!” He showed me where he found it and he was right. It was a gift set. It had 4 (9oz) bottles, 4 nipples, 4 nipple covers and tops, 4 storage lids and a pacifier.
The only thing is this package is all the way on the bottom of the shelf. So, if you’re in search of good bottles for a great deal. Try the Avent Gift Set!
