Hubby’s birthday was awesome!

I made him some cinnamon rolls…. they tasted so good with a tall glass of iced milk!

Then we dropped off the kiddies at my in laws and drove to One Colorado in Pasadena. (I’m sad that Pasadena is now just back to being a tourist spot for us… boo!)

We picked up our Avatar tickets at the front desk and our Gold Class Cinema experience was about to begin.

The seats recline and are incredibly comfty. They had servers that brought us our blankets, pillows, drinks and food.

The food was amazing! We ordered some calamari and a cheese and meat platter for our apps. For our entrees, we had mini angus burgers and mini portobello mushroom burgers. I was stuffed!

The movie by the way is amazing! I love it!

Then, we did some shopping and spent time with the kiddies.

Then we got ready for a night at Magic Castle! We finally got to try a Beef Wellington and a Lobster Bisque, yum!

They had some small close encounters throughout the castle but the main show was the best one. I really liked it, but it ended pretty late and I was dead tired by the time we picked up the kids and got home.

Hubby’s new phone also finally came to replace his broken one, woohoo!

I had way too much fun on his birthday, probably more than he did! =)

11 years ago, we met at Islands and that’s where our story began….

We sorta knew from the beginning that you and I were meant to be. There’s always been a connection between you in me. That even if we haven’t seen each other for a while that we can always pick up where we left off.

You and I have always been meant to be. And now, 11 years later of knowing each other and 5 of which having been married to you, I still thank God for blessing my life with you.

DH is home tonight and i found these two reindeers baking some cookies in the kitchen!

I was browsing the net and stumbled upon this website called www.astorybeforebed.com.

It’s an online service that lets you record yourself reading a story to a child or loved one that they can play over and over again.

I guess it’s an upgrade from the DIAL-a-STORY I’ve heard about years ago. (The one that kids can call at night and they listen to a bedtime story to put them to sleep)

With the advancement of technology and all, this is pretty much bound to happen anyway!

I love technology and I’m so happy about these new opportunities for parents to interact and be involved with their children using media!

I’m so excited that ATT U-verse is available at our new place! Waiting for it to get installed was quite an experience though.

Imagine, no internet access, no blogging, no email, no farmvilling! (Mikee told me today that all my crops are dead! hahaha!)

Then, TV with no cable or satellite! I thought we wouldn’t survive, having two small kids! But I was wrong! PBS was fine and QUBO was also available on regular tv. That kept them busy while we waited for UVERSE.

Anyway, now that we’re all installed, I discovered a Channel called Kid’s Multiview that does a preview of several kid channels and you can watch it right on the channel. So cool!

On top op that, there’s a Christian kids channel called SMILE! I like it! They tell bible stories and sing old sunday school songs! Pretty Awesome!

I got my Civic Hybrid in May 2004. The other day while we were out, I noticed this….

Yup, 100,000 miles in 5 years! Man, we drive a lot!

My Oh My, we’ve been busy!

Fortunately, I was able to make a few handmade cards as a present for one lucky recipient this Christmas.

Elle enjoys doing “work” just as much as her brother. I love it!

This week, I started at our new location in Commerce, CA.

Not only do I have to start driving to work everyday (instead of being dropped off by my wonderful husband), but it also adds at least another 35 minutes traveling time for each way.

I know my drive isn’t even half as far as my other co workers (one girl took 3 1/2 hours to come to work on monday because it was raining), but man, I’m tired when I get home.

I miss being home by 7:25, now I get home at almost 8pm. I miss my hubby and kids dropping me off at work and picking me up and go do family night or errands together. I miss having breakfast with my hubby and with my daughter after we drop Aaron off at school. I miss having hubby come see me for lunch twice a week.

The good news is that he’s still gonna try to come at least once a week to meet me for lunch, yay!

It’s been so difficult finding my way around our new work place, but the drive and time away from my family is the worst part of it. I’m still grateful for a JOB!

So, in order to lessen the craziness of our drive, we have made a decision last Sunday that we’re moving!

We were gonna look for a place in Glendale (close to my son’s school and close to my in laws) to cut us a good 20-25 mins drive back and forth.

Sunday, started looking for a place. Monday, we found an interesting apartment and set up an appointment to see it. Tuesday, we came to see it and signed an application form. Wednesday, turned in a few more needed paperwork and we got approved!

We picked up the keys yesterday and showed the kids our new place! We start moving today!

It’s amazing how things work out when it’s surrounded by prayer. Our move was almost an impulsive decision but we asked for prayers immediately as soon as we made our consideration and we’re now moving less than a week later!

God’s grace is so sufficient!
