It’s almost D day of DS’s 3rd Birthday celebration. We still have so much to do. And considering we’ve been sick lately, we’re so behind schedule. And I’ve been wanting to blog for days, but DH been using the desktop for creating a DVD and the internet’s been so slow. In the few moments I actually get to use the computer, I end up uploading pictures on flickr or check my email. I feel so out of the loop with the blogging world! haha!
I just finished writing down everything we need to finish for DS’s party. And wow, that shopping list is getting longer each time I look at it! Well, I’m mentally tired, hopefully I can write more tomorrow.
1. I collect way too much scrapbooking materials.
2. I love chocolate ice cream.
3. I love wearing colorful socks.
4. I’ve converted from a PC to a MAC.
5. I’m an expert in cooking ingredients straight from the pantry.
Having little ones in the house changes our music preferences. We still listen to our all time favorite Gospel, and occasional R and B, Hip-Hop, but most of the time, the music in the car plays our son’s favorites.
He loves Hillsong kids, Hi-5 and Dan Zanes. I love them too, because they’re not the typical kiddie songs out there. Hillsong kids introduces Praise and Worship to a very young age. Hi-5 is very narrative and encourages storytelling and language skills. Dan Zanes makes folk songs fun and puts a different flare on old time hits.
I’m grateful for you tube that plays my favorite Gospel Songs from Hezekiah Walker, Joe Pace and Fred Hammond. I stumbled on this video of a guy playing to Joe Pace’s song “While you Wait.” Such an awesome message. It almost made me cry.
I’ve been searching for the right moisturizer for years. My skin gets dry easily and is very sensitive.
For a while, I’ve been trying a Mary Kay Daytime Moisturizer that seemed great! It was light, unscented and didn’t cause my skin to turn red. As a moisturizer, it worked well, until the weather started getting dryer. I had to keep putting a few applications each day if I wanted my skin to stay moisturized, so I gave up. I went shopping for a new brand.
Since I use Dove as a deodorant and a Conditioner, I decided to give their moisturizer a try. And guess what? It was so worth the switch. I love the Dove Deep Moisture facial lotion. I only need to apply it once and it works for the whole day. It also smells very clean and its not as thick as I expected. As as added bonus, the price is perfect, it’s under $10.
Those disposable diaper bags are such great help to get rid of stinky diapers. I normally get mine from Babies r Us. But you know what works just as good? Those see-through bags in the produce section of the grocery store.
No,I don’t take their bags without asking. Hubby bought me a roll from Smart and Final. It’s for $20 for 1600 pcs. Compare that to $7 from 250 disposable bags from Babes r Us.
I figured, they go to the trash anyway, why pay more money for them!
