Making a Difference

I’m so excited! One of the managers at work nominated me to be a part of the March of Dimes Committee. It’s wonderful to be involved in raising funds for such a great cause.

I think it’s awesome that there is an organization that focuses on education and research to help mothers have healthy and full term pregnancies.

Our son was a week away from being born a preemie. And I was having complications with my daughter that she was almost born 2 months early. But God has blessed me and hubby with two healthy babies that were born full term and I wouldn’t want to wait till we are in that situation before we consider helping out. It’s a great opportunity to be involved now.

We’ll be holding fundraisers and I’m even gonna do the walk at theExposition Park on April 25, 2009.

I’m setting my personal goal for $500. You can support March of Dimes by making a donation for my walk here. Every single dime counts! Or if you can’t, at least visit the site to learn more about the cause. Making a Difference works for me!
